After two years of ugly batteling, a child custody agreement has finally been reached between famous exes Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Angelina famously wanted sole physical custody and Brad, 54, wanted 50/50 joint custody of their six kids and that was the reason that the whole family was supposed to go on trial to have a judge help them got to an agreement. Now, after Brad has been begging Angelina not to do this to the kids, they have found a way to resolve the issues once and for all.
Angelina’s attorney Samantha Bley DeJean shared on Nov. 30 that: “A custody arrangement was agreed two weeks ago and has been signed by both parties and the judge. The agreement, which is based on the recommendations of the child custody evaluator, eliminates the need for a trial. The filing and details of the agreement are confidential to protect the best interests of the children.”
“The former couple finally realized the ongoing fight is only hurting the children, and it’s expected to be finalized very soon,” says a source. Brad originally was the one who wanted to keep his kids out of court, since he didn’t want them to have to face the rigors of a trial. Now it appears that Angelina agrees.
We hope all is for the best and wish them the best of luck and love in their officially separated lives now!
