7. Their wedding was watched by millions. The event was watched by a congregation of 3,500, broadcast in 74 countries, and watched by 750 million people worldwide.

8. They were the first royal couple to kiss on their wedding day. Once they appeared on the balcony of the Buckingham Palace, the crowd started chanting, “Give her a kiss!” and Charles went ahead and kissed Diana. Ever since then, this has become a tradition that is followed by the younger generation.
