Jennifer Lopez just rapped up her last show from her residency in Las Vegas after three super successful years and there were many emotions. Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa, Anthony Anderson, Ashley Graham, Tiffany Haddish, Diddy and many more were among the stars who attended her final performance over the weekend.
A group of people part told E! News, “J.Lo shouted out various celebrities during a portion of the show.” According to this eyewitness, she usually asks the audience where they’re from, and this time, “specifically asked for a New Yorker” and then mentioned Diddy was in the house.
Her boyfriend of two years now Alex Rodriguez has been there with her almost throughout the whole experience.“I just want her to celebrate because the three-year residency has been an enormous success,” A-Rob told Hollywood Life. “She’s literally broken records every day for the last two weeks and she has four left,” he also added that Jennifer’s Sept. 22 performance broke Planet Hollywood’s record as the “highest grossing night for a show,” according to Entertainment Tonight.
Ultimately, the show earned over $100 million and was seen by 500,000 fans over three years. Lopez also gushed about just how excited she is for Second Act, her forthcoming romantic comedy.
“It’s that type of feel-good, inspirational movie and I can’t wait for it to come out,” she said. “I mean, we have an amazing cast and Milo [Ventimiglia], Vanessa Hudgens, Leah [Remini]… and I did a song for it called ‘Limitless’ which Sia wrote… And she did an amazing job and it’s a great song! You know how she writes ,but it’s so funny, when I played it for [her children] Emme and Max, I was like, ‘Let me play you something. Tell me what you think’… [Emme] was like, ‘It sounds like a Sia song.’ I was like, ‘It is a Sia song!’”
Alex wrote on Instagram, “#AllIHave isn’t just the name of the show, it’s what she has given to her audiences every single night. That’s what makes her great. When she hits the stage, the audience gets her best effort. That was true on her first performance, will be true tonight and it has been that way every show in between. She is working as hard today as she does every day and it’s amazing to watch.”
A person from the audience told E! News: “Towards the end she gave A.Rod a special address where she thanked him for being supportive throughout her residency. She made a joke referring to how he seen the show more than anyone she knows.”
Selena Gomez also praised J.Lo on Instagram, calling her “absolutely incredible”. She wrote, “I wanted to tell you how much you inspired me tonight!!!! I haven’t felt that free in my entire life! Lol THANK YOU!! I just wanted to tell you how amazing god thinks you are!!!!”
