Duchess Kate and Princess Charlotte left the boys, Prince William, Prince George, and Prince Louis at home, to attend a pre-rehearsal performance last week of the Nutcracker ballet at the Royal Opera House.
Earlier this year, William revealed to attendees at a Commonwealth Day reception: “My daughter Charlotte loves dancing.”
“We took the children down to where the party was but everything was gone,” Kate shared with people while on a visit to Cyprus. “They were so disappointed!”
During the usual royal walkabout, Kate met and spoke to some of the fans gathered to greet them. She specifically bonded with a mother of a 10-month baby. “She asked whether [the baby] was sleeping through the night and she told me that Louis is starting to wave,” Rhian Davis, 32, told reporters.
“They’re doing well, thank you,” she told a fan who asked about the little royals in a video by a fan. “They’re getting excited for Christmas time because they’ve started all their Christmas songs and the Christmas trees are going up.”
