Kate Middleton visited the Evelina London Children’s Hospital on Tuesday morning to which it was recently announced that she is a patron.
She was joined by her husband Prince William and the two of them took part in some Christmas-themed activities. They met with staff and parents whose children are receiving life-changing care and support.
The Duchess wore a green polka dot LK Bennett dress, which she accessorized with an olive green clutch and matching pumps. The dress is perfect for your next office Christmas party and it features a large bow at the nape of the neck. It is priced at £325.
Kate and William also traveled to The Passage, a charity that supports homeless people and encourages them to make long-term changes in their lives.
Kate patronage was announced just moments before she and William visited the hospital. “We are absolutely delighted and deeply honored The Duchess of Cambridge has chosen to become our Patron. The Duchess shares our passion for giving children and young people the very best start in life and Her Royal Highness’ support will help champion the life-saving care our staff are providing to our patients.”
“It is a huge pleasure to welcome Their Royal Highnesses back to our hospital and we are absolutely delighted that they are able to join us as we begin to celebrate our milestone 150th anniversary. We are immensely grateful for Their Royal Highnesses’ support and we look forward to working closely with The Duchess as our Patron.”
“Through visits to hospitals and hospices The Duchess has seen first-hand the impact that comprehensive care and support can have upon young children,” the Palace said in a statement on Kate’s new cause. “Her Royal Highness’s new patronage of Evelina London provides an opportunity to champion the medical professionals working on the front-line in children’s healthcare, and shine a light on their work supporting children in their early years.”
This is not the first time Kate dresses in a festive way. Just a week ago she stepped out in a plaid Emilia Wickstead skirt which she paired with a simple black cardigan. And last week she and her husband William, went on a one day visit in Cyprus she wore a festive green blazer and in fact, Willaim joked that she blended in with the Christmas tree in the background of one of their photo ops.
