Despite reports suggesting that only the male members of the royal family went on the traditional Boxing Day hunt this year, it looks like Duchess Catherine joined them this year too.

Royal expert Rebecca English reveals through family sources that Kate joined in with the Boxing Day hunt after lunch and that she has become “a keen markswoman” and has even invested in her own 20-bore shotgun. The shoot is done for population control and much of what they get is used in the Royal kitchen. Both Meghan and Kate supported their husbands at a Boxing Day feast of “cold cuts” of meat after the hunt.

Despite all the rumors of a feud between them, Kate and Meghan looked the best of friends on their way to the service this Christmas. They were photographed chatting and smiling as they were on their way to the church.

This is not the first time Kate goes for hunting. She was pictured collecting birds in 2007 and then again in 2009.
