Hello magazine reports that in a recent surprisingly revealing interview Kate Middleton’s brother, James Middleton, has opened up on how his family spends their Christmas together. The interview was for German TV channel, Leute Heute, and the 31-year-old businessman explained what Christmas is like for his family.
He said: “I welcome people into our family home, I want it to feel like it’s their home. There’ll be turkey, champagne and some wine.” James added: “For me it’s all about family… It’s one where we can all regroup.”
Kate and William will reportedly spend the holidays with Kate’s family this year. This will be the first Christmas for their youngest child Prince Louis, as well as Pippa’s newborn son Arthur.
Last year the royal couple spent the holidays in Amner Hall, their own residence on the Sandringham Estate, where they have invited Prince Harry and his, then, fiancee Meghan Markle. This was Meghan’s first Christmas with the royals.
Following the tradition, members of the royal family open Christmas presents on Christmas Eve after enjoying afternoon tea – something that Meghan will have to get used to.
