Today the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrive Leicester City today to pay respect to the city after a tragic helicopter crash there last month. The couple carried two engagements – one at the city’s stadium, one at its university. Kate talked to some of the people, who were gathered there to greet them. She shared her excitement for Meghan Markle and her new baby when a woman asked her about it.
“Yeah, absolutely, [I’m excited for Meghan and her new baby],” Kate said. “It’s such a special time to have all the kiddies and a cousin for George and Charlotte as well as Louis so it’ll be really special.”

The Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge were in Leicester today paying tribute to those who tragically lost their lives in a helicopter crash.
Earlier this week it was announced that Meghan and Harry are moving from Kensington Palace to Frogmore Cottage. The news sparked a lot of rumors some of which suggested that the tension between the sister-in-law was the reason for the sudden move.
Royal expert Katie Nicholl wrote in Vanity Fair that a friend of Prince Harry told her over the summer that the Duke is concerned that he and his wife might be attracting too much attention. “Harry doesn’t like it, and he’s keen to protect Meghan from being too much in the public eye,” the friend said at the time. A source told The Sun: “There has been a bit of tension between the brothers. Now Harry and Meghan don’t want to live next to William and Kate and want to strike out on their own. They need more room and hope Frogmore Cottage will be ready in time for when they have the baby.”
During Kate and William’s engagement today, Kate was asked about their children and how are they doing. “They’re doing well, thank you,” she said. “They’re getting excited for Christmas time because they’ve started all their Christmas songs and Christmas trees are going up. It was really sweet. And Louis’s getting big. I can’t believe he’s like seven months now. He’s getting to be a big boy.”
