In September Meghan Markle launched the Grenfell community kitchen book, which proceeds went to support the Hubb Community Kitchen, enabling it to stay open and to thrive. This week just before Christmas Meghan and Harry managed to go on a very private event at the Hubb Community Kitchen in London and this time they were joined by singer Adele.
One of the chefs and founders of Hubb, Munira Mahmoud, share the photos on her social media accounts.
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan visited the Hubb Community Kitchen on Thursday. And they weren’t the only familiar faces at @almanaar — #Justice4Grenfell supporter @Adele stopped by too!

The community kitchen was established by women who survived the Grenfell Tower fire, which killed 72 people in June 2017 and Adele has been a very vocal supporter.
“I immediately felt connected to this community kitchen; it is a place for women to laugh, grieve, cry and cook together,” said the Duchess back in September. ‘Melding cultural identities under a shared roof, it creates a space to feel a sense of normalcy – in its simplest form, the universal need to connect, nurture, and commune through food, through crisis or joy – something we can all relate to. ‘Together: Our Community Cookbook’ are already making a difference locally,” the Palace wrote. “The Duchess has made regular private visits to the kitchen since January, which was set up by women from the community affected by the Grenfell Tower fire. Through the power of cooking, the women have been able to connect, heal and look forward. Thanks to the funds raised from ‘Together’, the kitchen has been completely renovated, with the women’s input, capturing the joyful spirit of the Hubb Community Kitchen and providing a safe, professional space to unite the community through food.”
