Mother and daughter goals!
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth just got quietly married with the most low key ceremony just a day before Christmas. A few days ago photos, which are pointing to that conclusion surfaced – like Miley in a white dress, cutting cakes with Liam, who is in a tuxedo, while their home is decorated with ‘Mr & Mrs’ balloons.
The images were shared on the Instagram stories of some of the couple’s closest friends and fans went crazy! The whole ceremony seems very intimate and small, with just the couple’s closest family and friends. Miley is wearing an off-shoulder white dress with her blonde hair worn loose.
Now more details about her and Liam’s big day surfaced as her mom shared a throwback photo of her own wedding to Miley’s dad – Billy Ray Cyrus. Tish captioned her pic: “25 years ago today @billyraycyrus and I stood in our living room in Franklin Tn and said ‘I Do.’ I would definitely say everything has come full circle!”
It looks like Miley and Liam recreated her parent’s wedding entirely. They also got married at home in Tennessee, also had a super-laid-back wedding, and also posed in their living room—just like Miley and Liam.
This week, Miley herself confirmed the news by shared more images on her Instagram account. The bride is wearing an off-the-shoulder wedding gown, which is simply stunning. The photos show Cyrus’ first dance with Hemsworth, which she captioned the photo “10 years later”.
She also shared a video from their home wedding reception on her Instagram Stories. The bride could be seen dancing in her wedding gown to “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson. She wore an ivory silk satin corseted draped gown by Vivienne Westwood. The elegant off-the-shoulder Long Cocotte design is made-to-order at Vivienne Westwood’s London and New York boutiques and it retails for $8,600.
