Meghan Markle visited today the London community kitchen she helped raise funds for, and showed off some serious culinary skills in the process.
The Duchess’ charitable work has already proven that it works, as the book they released two months ago has helped women behind the recipes to renovate their communal kitchen. Meghan is visiting the kitchen today to see “how the proceeds from ‘Together: Our Community Cookbook’ are already making a difference locally,” the Palace wrote. “The Duchess has made regular private visits to the kitchen since January, which was set up by women from the community affected by the Grenfell Tower fire. Through the power of cooking, the women have been able to connect, heal and look forward. Thanks to the funds raised from ‘Together’, the kitchen has been completely renovated, with the women’s input, capturing the joyful spirit of the Hubb Community Kitchen and providing a safe, professional space to unite the community through food.”
The charitable cookbook features more than 50 recipes from women whose community was affected by the Grenfell Tower fire tragedy in London, which killed 72 people in June last year. This was Meghan’s first solo project after becoming a royal and is supported by The Royal Foundation.

The future mom was glowing as she wore a maroon coat with matching dress by Club Monaco and black stockings with black heels.
