Rami Malek who played Queen’s Freddie Mercury in the film “Bohemian Rhapsody,” confirmed the rumors that he’s been dating his co-star Lucy Boynton during an acceptance speech at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.
“I’m just really honored to be here, so thank you to the Palm Springs Film Festival. It’s a privilege, it’s not lost on me and I’m so appreciative,” he said while accepting the Breakthrough Artist Award. He concluded by saying, “Thank you, Lucy Boynton. You have been my ally, my confidant, my love. Thank you so much.”

Lats year Us Weekly’s source said: “He is so into her. He goes and visits her in London all the time.” Lucy played Mary Austin, who inspired Mercury’s song “Love of My Life.”
Bohemian Rhapsody also received two nominations at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, with Malek once more nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role, while the entire cast is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
