In response to the news that Meghan Markle and husband Prince Harry are moving out of Kensington Palace, royal correspondent at the Daily Express, Richard Palmer, shared a series of Tweets to clarify the reason behind the decision. The Sun reported over the weekend that the Sussexs are setting up home at Frogmore Cottage, in the grounds of Windsor Castle, after deciding they didn’t want to live next to Prince William and Kate Middleton at the Palace.
There was a rumored “tension” between Kate and Meghan that was the cause of the “growing rift” between the two princes. In one of his Tweets, Richard says: “The crazies on Twitter won’t like it but it is clear that Meghan is regarded as difficult and demanding by some in the family and on the staff.”

According to new reports, after just six months, the American actress is already turning the royals’ life upside down. The Daily Mail reports that Meghan is determined to do things her way from the moment she bounces out of bed at 5 am, she has proved to be less of a breath of fresh air and more of a whirlwind. The new Duchess is turning upside down the rulebooks on everything from fashion to friendships, diplomacy to the etiquette of car doors, as she shuts her own.
He wanted to highlight that there was “no big fallout” between the Duchesses. He said: “The story behind Harry and Meghan’s move to Frogmore Cottage? Harry and Meghan spreading their wings. No big fallout but Kate and Meghan not close. No royal properties available in London apparently.”
Right after getting married in May 2018 Meghan and Harry received multiple gifts from the Queen – one of them was a luxurious two bedroom apartment in Kensington Palace right next to Kate Middleton and Prince William. Now new reports claim that the new couple and parents-to-be a willing to move out from the place into a bigger space to raise their family.
The Duke of Gloucester and his wife Birgitte are expected to move out of their huge 21-room apartment and make room for Harry and Meghan. We hope that these 21 bedrooms would be big enough for a family of three.
“Birgitte doesn’t want to leave,” the friend said. “And why should she? She and her husband are still full-time working members of The Firm and they were given their apartment by Her Majesty.”
“Harry and Meghan want to move, and need more space, but they don’t want to live next door to William and Catherine. They will soon have separate offices and separate lives, so it would make sense for them to live further afield. “They will soon have separate offices and separate lives, so it would make sense for them to live further afield. There is no reason why their London home has to be at Kensington Palace. There are plenty of other options, including using their own money to buy their own place.’

“Catherine and Meghan live very different lives,” adds the source. “And that is likely to become more marked over time.”
