When Meghan Markle married into the British royal family, she should have known that she is diving into centuries worth of tradition. So, naturally, she has a lot to get used to – from protocol to constantly being followed and criticized. She is yet to announce her royal patronages, but apparently, the new royal has a lot of ideas and she is finding that it is harder than it looks to put them into action.
New reports according to People magazine claim that the Duchess is pretty frustrated with being told “no” a lot of the time.
A source told the magazine that “the palace is a magical place, and it is also a place where all you hear is ‘no, no, no.’ The most difficult job in the royal family is to work with Meghan’s ambitions and make them realizable. She will get frustrated if she is told, ‘You can’t do this or can’t do that.'”
The source adds that Meghan’s aides “might not be used to the ‘say-it-as-you-see-it’ American mentality.”
Earlier this week new reports according to Life and Style magazine, claimed that the Duchess is not easy to get along with at all, in fact, she is reportedly driving everyone crazy at Kensington Palace before she and Harry move to Frogmore Cottage. “Meghan is a perfectionist and gets stressed if things don’t go her way,” a source told the news outlet. “Her diva demands are wreaking havoc at the palace and staff are dropping like flies!”
It was even said that Meghan is more demanding that the Queen herself. “Meghan seems to be even more demanding than the monarch. There have been whispers that working for Meghan is like a scene out of The Devil Wears Prada!”
Her husband Harry is reportedly very supportive of her behavior and had famously said, to members of their staff, days before the wedding that “What Meghan wants, she gets!” Things got so ugly that the Queen herself, reportedly, had to remind Meghan and Harry to treat with respect the people who work for them.
“Some feathers need to be ruffled,” continued the source. Meghan’s alleged “diva behavior” has created chaos at the palace. Which is considered the reason why Meghan and Harry decided to move away from Kensington Palace. “The most difficult job in the royal family is to work with Meghan’s ambitions and make them realizable,” added another insider.
